There is something so special about those first few days at home. It makes sense to capture those memories in the places that you're making them. We hung out on the living room sofa, played in the curtains, wrestled on the bed, and even nestled sweet Baby in the hostas out front, all the while getting educated in superhero facts that I'm obvioulsy lacking, from 2-year-old brother Isaiah. That kids know his stuff!! Here's sweet Juliet, 8 days old and loved beyond measure.
"I wish I could take this morning and put it in my pocket and keep it forever." -- A line from one of our favorite Toot & Puddle books. And as my kids grow older it's got me wishing that all the more. This was one of those moments. Storybook snowfall. Happy kids, Slow day. Beautiful contentment. And I'll take every last bit of it. #children #family #snow
When I see a sister and brother at this age, I can't help but think of my own two oldest at this stage. My favorite time...before things got too crazy with a new baby, and school work, and friends, and life. So many sweet moments captured for this cutest little family. If we can't make them stay little, at least we'll have pics to remind us of how little and precious they once were. #family #couples #children
Traipsing through a creek all dressed up is how everyone spends a normal evening, right?! Well, the rocks were cool and the water was fun, and these guys made it look oh so natural, I'll just pretend I didn't nearly step on a water snake - yikes!! #family #children #water
